Partnership proposal Prepared for Lowe’s

Lowe’s HomeCare+  ×  quen williams

It would be an absolute dream for Lowe’s to partner with me on a signature short-form series called “Okay, so you bought a house. Now what?” It’s going to be 8+ episodes and covers everything homeowners need to know after they get their keys.

I was so excited to hear about HomeCare+ because it solves the problem this series is all about: nobody hands first-time homeowners a manual for maintaining their new home. HomeCare+ is literally the solution I wish I had, and one I’d love to suggest to my audience.

Already tested organically

And I already have the proof. My existing video, “now what after closing?” generated 153K+ views and more than 10K saves. Organically.

My idea for this series grew from the overwhelming positive response to this video and a few others (listed below). The concept is not speculation. It’s proven that this is info homeowners need, and my audience has already shown demand for this exact post-closing content.

Audience fit

My community is built around women moving through the transition from renter to homebuyer to homeowner, including many who are buying and owning independently.

For women navigating homeownership independently, the learning curve doesn’t stop at closing. My audience repeatedly asks the practical questions that come next: What should I maintain? What can I handle myself? Who do I call when I need help?

Proof of fit

this isn’t hypothetical audience fit

My strongest content already centers on this exact subject matter, and the audience treats it as reference material.

From the comment section
“What about for a new build? I just got a general inspector. Should I still do more? Please let me know I close in a week.”
“Wait people can do this FOR you?? Why didn’t anyone tell me this?”
New homeowners don’t know what they don’t know

The goal is not to reach the largest possible number of people. It is to reach the right person at the exact moment she needs the information, and be useful enough that she saves it, shares it and acts on it.

The audience is already here. And they’re already telling me what they need next.

The opportunity

two ways to reach new homeowners first

Option 01 · HomeCare+ feature

Lowe’s sponsors one dedicated installment centered on first-time-homeowner maintenance.

Potential concept
“Things nobody told me I had to maintain after buying my first house.”
Option 02 · Series partnership

Lowe’s partners across multiple relevant installments, or sponsors the broader series, as the audience moves through the first months of homeownership.

Integration territory

HomeCare+ becomes part of the education, not an advertisement inserted into unrelated content.

Why me and why now

homebuying and homeownership are the content

I don’t make generic lifestyle content that occasionally talks about houses.

My audience has followed me through the decisions that happen before buying a home. “Okay, so you bought a house. Now what?” continues that relationship after closing.

context.
trust.
timing.

The audience is already here. The need is already proven. The timing for HomeCare+ is unusually natural.
